Pushing the Limits

My Thoughts: This was probably one of my favorite books of 2012… if you haven’t read it yet, please, I beg of you, go get it from the library and start it ASAP. You won’t be sorry!
So this is the cover just revealed for the paperback edition of this YA Contemporary-Romance. If you’re familiar with the hardcover edition, then this probably looks pretty familiar to you. It looks like they stuck with the same fonts as the HC, but flipped the image sideways to run the horizontal length of the front and back flaps. Sometimes I get annoyed when a cover is completely redesigned when it’s released in paperback edition, but I’m kind of glad this one stayed pretty similar. I think the photo sideways works really well with the title, like it’s kind of “pushing the limits of what’s normal”. Plus, we all know Echo and Noah’s relationship is anything BUT normal! I love the blaze of Echo’s red hair against all of the black, gray, and white of the cover too. Overall, I’d say I’m satisfied with the PB cover.
What do you think?
