Well, I was hoping to wait until July 1st to start really utilizing my new blog, but unfortunately it appears that My Enchanted Bookshelf needed to close sooner. My decision to stop using My Enchanted Bookshelf was not an easy one to reach. Unfortunately, the website where I got my background and graphics was hacked in to, and viruses literally ate my computer alive. If you followed me at M.E.B then you already knew my state of complete, and utter panic. I could not in good faith continue using a blog that was not only detrimental to my own personal computer, but that could ultimately cause problems for my readers.
I am very sad to leave M.E.B. for many reasons. Among them is the fact that I spent the last year pouring my heart and soul into that site only to now lose everything. Note to self: I am composing all of my posts in a WordDoc and copy/pasting into Blogger. I am losing all of my reviews, every post, etc. I want to cry, literally. But I’m going to try and find the positive in this negative situation. I was feeling a little burned out with M.E.B. because I felt like I just wasn’t doing it justice. I have all these great ideas that just never seemed to pan out. I feel that I am able to really give The Little Pink Book Boutique (we can just refer to it as Pink Boutique for short, ha ha) my full and undivided attention because I’ve learned so much from my time at M.E.B. that I now know how to better schedule my posts, and what it is that I do want to post in the first place. I’m excited to begin my journey here with the Pink Boutique, and I’m hoping all of my loyal followers from M.E.B. will find me here and join in on my new adventure.
Please comment and leave your blog address so that I can follow you – I am afraid to even log into blogger under M.E.B so I’m going off of Twitter, Facebook, and Goodreads to follow everyone.
